Bank of Abyssinia is pleased to announce the launch of a new app in partnership with KOBIL Systems GmbH to verify user’s digital identity. The new App called BOA 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) is used for authentication, transaction authorization, and a digital signature that allows customers to safely log in to their account and perform secure Online Banking transactions with the following three different options of authentication:

One Time Password(OTP): this option sends a one-Time password (OTP) via SMS to authenticate and authorize a transaction.
Offline OTP (generated by the APP): this option generates a one-time password on the APP without an internet connection to authenticate and authorize a transaction.
Push Notification: this option sends a message from the App to authenticate or authorize a transaction.

You can download the App from Google’s Play Store and get your activation codes from your respective branches. IOS Version will soon be available.
